Anyway. The idea of getting back into the classroom with this new perspective - and the determination to prove that I can be that straight-A student that I used to be, once again - it's exciting, to say the least. I'm also looking forward to learning a bit from my Digital Imaging course. Some of you might have seen some of my touch-ups and recolors. I'd be the last person to call them 'good' - even if people seem to disagree with me - but I do think I've a knack for the thing. At the very least, I enjoy working with these images. It's fun. Everything I've learned ahs been through trial-and-error, though. I'm eager to see what I've missed along the way - and perhaps learn some basics that I can apply to what I already know to become even better.
Which leads me to one of those oddball ideas I'm prone to having. I'm all right with posting commissions that people have done for me... but.. I don't know. I'd like to give something back, in a sense. Lately, I've been pondering on the idea of doing commissions of my own - sort of. All right, so I can't draw... yet... but perhaps I can recolor/manipulate things for people. Images they have rights to, mind you. Let's say you get this really great piece commissioned. You've waited months, perhaps, to see the results - and they're nothing short of incredible. But the colors aren't quite as you'd like! What do you do now? Well... maybe I could provide that solution for others. It's nothing big; but it's a thought.
What does DA think? Am I off my rocker once more? If I was ever on it.
